This programme replaces the previously used Southern Cross RNAA programme.

You'll be joining the Perioperative team who share Te Toka Tumai's values of Haere Mai (welcome), Manaaki (respect), Tuhono (together) and Angamua (aim high).The timeframe for a current operating room (scrub/circ) or Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse to work and complete training is approximately 14months, depending on prior experience and learning.
You need to be ready to work full time in an 'on the job' training position in addition to completing the ANCP theoretic components.The cost of the training is fully funded by the directorate.
Clinical preceptor support is provided throughout with clinical teaching sessions facilitated by the AT Training and Development CoordinatorOnce training is complete there is an opportunity for you to combine this role with another perioperative role e.g.
