Position: AM Operations Manager - TFF Auckland

About the role

Toll Global Express are seeking a customer focussed and experienced AM Operations Manager. This role will be based at our brand new purpose built facility in Otahuhu, Auckland. The role will be responsible for managing the daily processing of all inbound and outbound freight, ensuring the utilisation of appropriate resources to achieve financial results.

Furthermore, this role will involve effectively leading the operations team to achieve quality service standards, whilst upholding a safe working environment. Working as part of the Toll team, you will develop effective working relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage branch freight operations teams,

Operational planning of people and resources,

Lead, motivate and coach employees,

Customer relationship management,

Provide accurate and timely reporting,

Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and legislation

Maintaining the site and its standards

Key Skills & Experience:

Customer focused attitude,

Ideally, a minimum of 5+ years experience in the transport/logistics industry,

Proven experience leading an operations team,

Knowledge of operational cost and resource management,

Proven ability in leading Health and Safety,

Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships,

Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills,

Respectful of all staff and suppliers
