We are seeking Aluminium Fabricators to join Extrastaff Limited.

Flexibility to work across different locations in the country is preferred.Responsibilities:Study, understand, and verify job sheet drawings and specifications to determine requirements.Complete work according to job sheet drawings and the schedule set by the Factory Manager.Follow company procedures and training in areas such as:Prepping (cleaning and preparing aluminium stock)Cutting aluminium using hand tools and machinesAssembly (aligning and joining parts with various techniques)Fixing hardwareFitting linersGlazingFinishing products for deliveryManaging stores and raw materialsHandling waste by-productsAdditional duties include:Onsite installation of aluminium structures and claddingChecking and maintaining tools and equipmentMaintaining a tidy and efficient workspaceEnsuring safety and functionality of equipmentReporting maintenance or safety issuesAssisting colleagues and moving framesLoading/unloading deliveries and assisting on-siteConducting stock takesCleaning and maintaining the workplace and machineryPerforming other related duties as a Metal FabricatorSkills and Experience:Preferably 2+ years in metal fabrication or relevant qualifications (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent), but open to candidates with minimal experience willing to learn.Friendly demeanor, good time management, and strong work ethic.Commitment to learning and skill development.Knowledge of health and safety procedures.Reliable and diligent.Conditions:Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.Minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week.Multiple locations across New Zealand, including Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and others.This is a permanent, full-time position.
