Aluminium Fabricators - Northland

We are seeking Aluminium Fabricators to join Extrastaff Limited.

Flexibility to work across various locations in the country is preferred.Responsibilities:Study and interpret job sheet drawings and specifications to understand job requirements.Complete work according to job sheet drawings and the schedule set by the Factory Manager.Follow company procedures and training for tasks including:Preparing aluminium stock for fabricationCutting aluminium using hand tools and machineryAssembling parts, aligning, and joining metals via bolting and rivetingFixing hardware and fitting linersGlazing and finishing products for deliveryManaging stores, raw materials, and wasteInstall aluminium structures and cladding onsite.Maintain equipment and tools.Keep a tidy and productive work environment.Ensure safety and functionality of equipment.Report safety issues and maintenance needs.Collaborate with team members.Assist with moving frames and loading/unloading deliveries.Support deliveries to sites and movement of frames on-site.Perform stock takes and maintain cleanliness.Carry out cleaning and maintenance as required.Perform other duties related to aluminium joinery fabrication.Skills and Experience:Preferably 1+ years in metal fabricating or a related field; candidates with minimal industrial experience and a willingness to learn are also encouraged.Friendly demeanor, good time management, and strong work ethic.Commitment to learning and industry development.Knowledge of health and safety procedures.Reliable and diligent.Conditions:Pay rate from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.Minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week.Work may be required across multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, and others.This is a permanent, full-time position.If interested, please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience.
