Right now, weare seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to join our childdevelopment team. This role is for people with a special affinity forworking with children and their families If you are enthusiastic about helpingchildren met their developmental milestones or helping children withdisabilities, then this role is for you.
You will be supporting andfacilitating the work of the registered healthcare staff to provide anexcellent child development service. Youwill be working with these health professionals, child and whanau in a clinical,home and educational settings. All towards the goal of maximising each child’sgrowth potential.
The ideal candidate would have:
Current New Zealand training certificate in patient care or relevant experience
To be willing to undertakeLevel 3 Rehab Assistant training
Experience in manual handling
A full driver’s licence
Effective planning andprioritisation skills
Excellent Communication Skills (bothwritten and verbal)
Basic Computer skills
