Our client is a New Zealand-owned and operated business based in Hamilton Central, they specialize in servicing the air conditioning and Refrigeration system and provide the best service to their clients.
About the Position:
This role is an Installation role within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Department. You'll be responsible for:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
Assisting with customer queries.
To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organisational and troubleshooting skills.
Requirements:
Must be Trade qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience servicing refrigerators and Air Conditioners.
Previous experience in installation technician, fitter/ turner type roles will also be considered.
Customer service skills, with the ability to deal with external clients.
Willingness to work full-time hours and available to do extra hours, after-hours when required.
Full Class 1 driving license as you'll be driving a company van.
Positive personality with a willingness to learn and progress your career.
A team player who can work well in a team and unsupervised.
The ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks quickly.
Salary, working hours, and the company culture:
This position is a full time 40-hour per week, the normal hours of operation are 7.30 am to 5 pm with overtime available (dependant on workload)
Competitive salary depending upon your experience and knowledge with pay & half for overtime.
Company van plus tools of the trade.
