Ai & Data Analyst / Engineer

We are seeking an AI-experienced Data Analyst / Engineer with deep expertise in AI, data analytics, cloud technologies (Azure & AWS), and business analysis.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in understanding customer needs, defining AI-driven solutions, and delivering value through data analytics.
They must be comfortable engaging with customers, gathering requirements, defining solutions, and presenting proposals.This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with stakeholders to translate complex AI and data concepts into actionable business solutions while managing product roadmaps, writing requirements, and delivering high-impact AI & data projects.You must be a New Zealand Citizen or have a New Zealand Work Visa to be considered for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Business AnalysisEngage directly with customers to understand their AI and data analytics needsConduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviewsDefine and document business use cases, user stories, and functional requirementsAct as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on AI and data strategiesAI & Data Analytics Solution DesignDefine AI-driven data analytics solutions tailored to customer needsArchitect and design AI and data solutions using Azure, AWS, and other cloud-based AI/ML servicesDevelop proof-of-concepts and validate AI/data solutions before full-scale implementationWork with data engineers and AI/ML specialists to implement solutionsProduct & Project ManagementCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and sales, to develop and launch AI-powered analytics solutionsOwn and manage product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and backlog groomingWork with delivery teams to ensure successful execution of AI & data projectsTrack and measure solution performance, making continuous improvementsDocumentation & ProposalsWrite detailed business requirements, technical requirements, and statements of work (SOWs)Create customer proposals, RFP responses, and executive presentationsDevelop high-quality documentation for AI and data analytics solutionsRequirementsExtensive expertise in AI, machine learning, and data analyticsPlease do not apply if you do not have a background as a Data Engineer or Data AnalystStrong experience with Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, and cloud-based analytics solutions e.g.
