Job Description Reporting to the Deputy CTO the Agile Facilitators will use their broad knowledge and insights to grow capability and unlock the potential within the team by guiding different ways of working to realise best practice for themselves and the environment Some of the key accountabilities include Mentoring and guiding teams into the agile methodology providing people with feedback and means of improvement catalysing organisational growth and answering questions when required Organise and facilitate ceremonies designed to enable delivery teams to understand and achieve common objectives while employing techniques that encourage active participation Provide support including administrative support and coordination support to help resolve delivery impediments Promote and implement agile principles and practices across all levels and departments in an organisation where opportunities exist to be realised About you We are looking for highly skilled expert who can demonstrate a solid work history in mentoring coaching and training delivery teams in agile methods They will have an excellent knowledge of methodologies such as Scrum XP Kanban Lean Systems thinking etc and experience with a range of project implementations In addition you will be up to date on the most current thought leadership on agile approaches and will exhibit welldeveloped facilitation skills Additional Information About our division Connect at the University of Auckland is responsible for the delivery of the centralised applications and infrastructure to support the staff students and community of the University of Auckland The primary objective of Connect is to provide technologyrelated services that support the Universitys core functions of Teaching Learning and Research together with enhancing the student experience Connect delivers a range of services across the University and has responsibility for both operational and leadership roles in the provision of Information Technology It plays a key role in ensuring the core IT infrastructure and systems of the University are both reliable and secure The services that are provided continue to change as new technology and systems are added to the responsibility of the unit and Connect has a core responsibility to adopt and manage those changes Connect works closely with other IT teams in the Faculty Service Divisions LSRIs Library NeSI Centre for eResearch Organisational Performance and IT Strategy Policy and Planning in order to meet the IT requirements of the University What we offer The University of Auckland is committed to providing an excellent working environment through Flexible employment practices Career development programmes A competitive salary with five weeks annual leave Company superannuation scheme discounted car parking a generous parental leave allowance and a number of other discounts on internal and external services For more information please visit Staff Benefits How to apply Applications must be submitted online by the closing date of Sunday 16 February 2020 to be considered Please include your cover letter and CV combined as one document
