Aged Care Cook

Thisposition is hands-on requiring you to prepare and cook meals forresidents, work within a dedicated team of staff and take ownershipof stock control, quality of meals and cleanliness of thekitchen.
Keyresponsibilities Cooking nutritiousHomestyle meals: morning/afternoon tea, 2 choices hot lunch,dessert, soup and evening mealSpecial diets and diet requirements includingallergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified soft& purees Supervisingand overseeing kitchen & food service on theweekend Monitoring andpromoting kitchen hygiene and HACCPAll aspects of kitchen operations includingwashing dishes and cleaning kitchen KeyCriteria: Trade qualified Chef orexperienced cook Previousexperience in a similar position within Aged Care, Health orHospitals advantageous StrongH&S awareness Abilityto work with limited supervision The successful candidatewill have previous experience in a similar role working in AgedCare, Health or Hospitals. You will be a well presented andself-motivated individual who has excellent organisational andcommunication skills.
