Are you an administration superstar looking for your next challenge in 2020?
The Venues & Events team at the Whanganui District Council are looking for an enthusiastic admin whiz to join their vibrant team and to provide support to our fun and fast paced work culture.
The Venues & Event portfolio consists of the following venues:
This part time (30hrs) role will suit an experienced all-round administrator who is innovative, quick thinking and ready to take on a challenge. The role involves everything from public enquiries and front counter reception, financial support and admininstration, coordination of Open Spaces Applications and also has the perk of coordinating the administrative duties for the NZ Masters Games event, held right here in Whanganui in 2021.
Reporting to the Manager Venues & Events, this 'go-to' team member will be someone willing to roll up their sleeves and help out with venue setups and pack downs when required, as well as handle a number of the last minute requests that come with working in the venues and events industry.

Local Government experience would be an advantage.
