About The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for an Operations Assurance Officer to join our Operations Assurance team, based in Tauranga.
This role is a 12-month fixed-term position, with full-time hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.ResponsibilitiesOur Operations Assurance team is an integral part of Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) operations, serving all CIP branches and affiliates.
The Operations Assurance Officer is responsible for approving new client accounts in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislative and NZX requirements.
Responsibilities include:Reviewing all new client accounts to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and CIP policiesEnsuring documentation meets licensing requirementsEntering data into our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemUpdating and reconciling DIMS registers (DIMS/Adviser accounts)Managing email correspondence via a group inbox, responding to queries from the Advisory network and back-office unitsPerforming additional tasks as directed by your ManagerThis role is critical in maintaining CIP's high standards of client account management, mitigating non-regulatory risks such as fraud and errors, and ensuring consistent compliance across the business.About YouCandidates should have experience in administrative roles, preferably within financial services or risk and compliance sectors.
The role involves daily tasks requiring effective prioritization.
Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
High computer literacy is required, and experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
