Administrator Emergency Department Dunedin Salary $70,970 - $73,941 Permanent, part time (0.7 FTE, 28 hours a week) opportunity Dunedin CBD base Are you looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our vibrant Emergency Department at Dunedin Hospital. Our administrators work on a 24/7 roster, so it is essential you are flexible and available to work across all shift patterns. Mo te turanga | About the role Our Emergency Department is an exceptionally busy service and provides care for thousands of attendees every year. We have a triage area, a rapid assessment area, dedicated resuscitation areas, acute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles. Our department carries out all acute care, including full patient resuscitation facilities, management of trauma, fractures, injuries etc. The ED's vision is to be a centre of clinical care and customer service excellence. We pride ourselves on having a strong focus on customer service and its success is reliant on effective communication and teamwork. Mou ake | About you This is a fast-paced environment and experienced applicants will thrive in this busy, front-line area of the hospital. We are looking for a new team member to carry out varied administrative duties to support the wider team, and ensure our department runs smoothly. You will be extremely resilient, display maturity whilst making sound decisions, and have a professional can do attitude in line with our values. Naturally you will also have a friendly and welcoming nature, and be comfortable interacting with patients and their whanau. As an experienced administrator you will be skilled at juggling multiple priorities, and able to remain calm under pressure.
