Administrator, DAMHS Office The Specialist Mental Health Director of Area Mental Health Services (DAMHS) Office is looking for a skilled and motivated Administrator to work in full-time permanent role.
When you work with the Canterbury District Health Board, you’re part of something very special. We plan, fund and deliver health services to the almost 600,000 people that live in the Canterbury region. Our primary goal is to put people at the heart of everything we do.
You will be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and build working relationships effectively. Your strong communication and time management skills will enhance your ability to participate as a valued team member, and your confidentiality will be second to none. It would be advantageous but not essential to have knowledge of the Mental Health Act [MHA] and experience in SAP – the Specialist Mental Health Service patient management system.
The role:Undertake the wide administrative duties of the Office,
Processing legal papers for legislation related to the provision of mental health and alcohol and other drug servicesComplete reporting to the Ministry of Health and DHB requirementsMaintain registers and legislative requirements as directedSupport with Ministry of Health queries regarding the MHA
From you:Accuracy and high attention to detail
Proven experience in administration workExcellent keyboard skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsThis is a full time, permanent role with the exact details to be discussed at interview stage.
