About the roles

Allied Health - Administrative Support role

This is a permanent, full-time position working 80 hours a fortnight, typically worked Monday-Friday between the hours of 8.00AM - 4.30PM Monday to Friday, based at Nelson Hospital.

You will be working within multi-disciplinary teams including a range of health professionals and administration staff. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: ensuring patient documentation is maintained and up to date, booking appointments and follow-ups and typing. You will also be expected to assist the other administrative staff by covering periods of leave and sickness, which may occasionally involve working out for the Richmond Health Hub.

The commencing salary for this role is $36,239 per annum.

Emergency Department - Administrative Support two roles available

We have two permanent part-time positions available, each working 40 hours a fortnight (five shifts) across early, late and night shifts covering a 24 hours day,seven days a week roster. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team including surgeons, nurses, other clinical professionals and administration staff. Your primary responsibility will be for reception and administration duties to enable the smooth flow of patients through the department.Duties will include, but are not limited to: reception, ensuring patient documentation is maintained and up to date. In return you ll enjoy support from the team,a collegial working environment and job security.

ED shifts:

Early

06.45 - 15.15 hours

07.45 - 16.15 hours

Late

15.00 - 23.00 hours

16.00 - 00.00 hours
Night

23.00 - 07.00 hours

The commencing salary for this role is $43,580per annum (pro rata).

About you

It is essential that you have a positive attitude, excellent customer service and reception skills, as well as the ability to learn new tasks quickly and multi-task efficiently in a stressful clinical environment.
