Full TimeMonday - FridayThis is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated professional with strong staff management, administration, and leadership skills to join our busy and growing service. Reporting to the Service Manager and Clinical Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of 19 administrative staff as well as playing an important role in the leadership team within the Radiology service. The role is pivotal in ensuring the department’s goals and targets are met through efficient work practices and quality customer service. The Administration Team Leader role is expected to provide leadership that will inspire, support and motivate our clerical team to grow This role is required to maintain relationships with a number of key internal and external stakeholders and these relationships are fundamental to the efficient and effective administration service across our community and Counties Manukau Health. To be successful you will need to have demonstrated administrative skills at a senior level, a high level of customer focus, a "can-do" attitude, as well as strong planning and organisational skills. Attention to detail is important. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal will be required as will the ability to prioritise and problem solve. This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital.Essential:Health related or administrative qualification
3 years of relevant experience in either quality or a relevant health field
Excellent computer skills, MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
Well-developed numerical skills
Experience of supervising staff in a service-based setting
Understanding of the New Zealand Health Strategy and other Government policy settings
High level of verbal and written communication
PreferredHealth IT experience
