The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider. We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand.

We have a part time opportunity for 24 hours per week for an experienced Activities Coordinator at our Alden Ranburn Care Home, tucked away in the coastal community of Waipu, Northland, with a homely feel, our units are sunny and bright.

As our Activities Coordinator, you will engage our Residents in their own individualised monthly care plan, and help manage their custom plans every step of the way. You will be responsible for sourcing and implementing successful strategies to engage our Residents in personalised experiences to support their care.

You will be a passionate individual with particular patience and empathy for the elderly. You will be organized, creative, and inspired to make a VERY real difference through both small - and large - actions.

Ideally, you will have:

* Experience caring for the elderly
* A first aid certificate
* A full and clean driver's license - so that you are able to take our Residents on outings using our company van
* Good community links
* Patience, empathy, and a love of the creative world
