The Opportunity

Our client is a leading retailer and one of the most recognisable brand names Australia wide. Their operations have continued to grow year on year and with plans for further expansion in place, this is a business that has a lot of positive momentum. They boast a collaborative, tight knit culture and have built a reputation for their excellent training, development and progression from within. Due to continual growth an opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Challenge
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be a crucial member of the finance team. Specifically your responsibilities will include:
Checking and processing supplier invoices
Coding and batching invoices in preparation for payment
Maintaining relationships with vendors and dealing with enquiries
Completing accounts payable statement & bank reconciliations
Providing assistance for all queries relating to invoice exceptions, payments and allocations
Daily and weekly cheque and EFT payment runs

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
Experience in an accounts based role is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in SAP would be advantageous but is not essential
A bachelors degree, ideally in accounting or finance
