We have a fantastic opportunity for a experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our business in our finance department for an intial 6 month contract. Working in a fast paced team, the Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for ensuring all tasks associated with making payments to clients and suppliers of AIA are made to the appropriate payee in a timely manner. Working in a team of 4 you will be crossed trained in all aspects of Accounts Payable.
To be successful in this role, you will come from a general accounting, bookkeeping and office administration background with sound knowledge of the accounts payable full life cycle. You will have efficient keyboard skills for accurate data entry, you will be an intermediate user of Excel and have thorough knowledge and strict adherence to company policies. You will be someone who applies a continuous improvement lens to all that you do and as a result you take responsibility for the appropriate scheduling of activities to meet end of day processing deadlines. Knowledge of Sun, SAP and Ariba will be highly regarded.
This role is due to commence early January 2019.
