Who are we looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team! We need someone who can multi-task to meet multiple deadlines while also providing exceptional customer service.

In this role you won't only be responsible for the regular functions of Accounts Payable, you'll also suggest and implement new ways to streamline processes, to remove waste and avoid duplication. You'll be comfortable with change, a keen problem solver that welcomes the opportunity to learn new systems and make improvements.

As part of the small but mighty Finance Operations team, you'll support the organisation with internal financial management by providing key financial services and expertise to internal staff, ratepayers and other stakeholders. Working closely with your team leader and peers, you will ensure that the cross-organisational teams you are a part of are successful.

Ideally you'll have two or more years' experience in a similar Accounts Payable role and an excellent analytical and problem solving skillset, with the ability to work well under pressure.
