The main responsibility for the team is to ensure timely processing of incoming vendor invoices, responding to and resolving internal colleague and vendor queries, creating weekly payments and any other challenges to make sure our vendors are paid in time, and the invoices are processed according to our internal policies and procedures.
You will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor in Christchurch, New Zealand.Please note, this is a 12-month fixed term contract.Your Day-to-Day:Ensuring efficient, accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoicesVerifying those transactions comply with internal policies and proceduresInvestigating and resolving problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase ordersReconciling and monitoring vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to dateProviding excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors and colleaguesProcessing weekly payment proposalsPerforming additional responsibilities as requested by ManagementWhat You Bring to The Team:Minimum NCEA Level 3 or equivalent education / 0-2 years of relevant experienceHigh level of accuracyStrong communication skillsRoll up your sleeves attitude while maintaining the big pictureAbility to work in a dynamic, fast moving, and demanding environmentFluent in English both written and verbalOur Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion:At Seequent, we champion the uniqueness of each individual.
