An excellent opportunity exists for an energetic and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Advisor based in the Wellington CBD.
This role is part of the Ministry's Financial Payments & Collections team who are responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment and collection of all Ministry transactions.
About this role
The Accounts Payable Advisor role is responsible for. accurately and efficiently processing transactions for. payment in line with agreed processes to ensure internal and external levels are met or exceeded. The role also provides professional support and issue resolution to internal customers and suppliers.
About you
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous Accounts Payable experience in a large organisation
Experience using Tier 1 ERP Systems
The ability to work independently and also as part of the wider AP/AR team is essential to this role
A passion for delivering excellent customer service
Be self-motivated, responsible and a team player
Ability to complete work accurately with high attention to detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Excel skills would be an advantage.
