Be a part of it.About the roleThe Accounts Assistant works closely with the Finance Operations Team Lead and Finance Operations team members to ensure the effective end to end financial management of Purchasing & Accounts Payable, and Billing & Accounts Receivable processing across Rocket Lab’s US and NZ Operations.Essential skillsA solid understanding of end to end accounts payable processing, reconciliations and the month end process.Experienced in administrating internal controls & associated internal policies across accounts payable and accounts receivable.An understanding of corporate tax & compliance requirements.To be highly organised, structured and able to manage your time effectively through taking a systematic approach to your tasks.Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to help with a variety of tasks.To be computer savvy, with at least an intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and Word.A strong team player who is also capable of working independently.You will also need to be fastidious, structured and thrive in a dynamic work environmentAs well as a being a career-defining role, working at Rocket Lab means being part of meaningful projects with world-leading experts.Collaboration is at our core - every idea is heard, and everyone makes a difference.We get things done.
