Accounts Assistant

We're on the hunt for an accounts assistant to help our busy in-house accountant. We need someone with: Accuracy with high attention to detail An ability to work to, and meet deadlines Experience working with Xero ideal, Xero Coding An accounting degree will be an advantage You'll be working on: Weekly and monthly payments Daily bank reconciliations in xero Checking invoices and supplier statements Assisting with month end accounts & weekly payroll, staff expense claims and tax returns Processing franchise fees
This is a perfect opportunity to gain real world experience and brush up on your skills. We are flexible about the hours and days of work but must be split over at least 2 days. There is potential for additional hours in the future as we grow and you prove your value. Based in our cool Ponsonby office, this role will make someone very happy.
