The Role
Bascik Transport is seeking a dynamic person to join their dedicated team. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, this key role has a focus on accounts receivable. Your responsibilities will involve account and job pricing reconciliation, invoice analysis, and preparation of customer accounts utilising the company’s financial accounting system (emPOWER.) You’ll answer both phone and email enquiries from clients and liaise with the customer service and dispatch teams, ensuring all requests are responded to efficiently and effectively. You will also provide day to day support as required to the rest of the team.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful, you will have a background in a similar role including strong book-keeping skills and familiarity with accounts receivable. You will be highly adaptable and flexible with a passion for continuous improvement of systems and processes. You will have a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving, excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and be well organised with good time management. In addition, you need to have excellent customer service, enjoy working within a team environment and have a broad sense of humour.
