A large New Zealand organisation is seeking an Accounts Administrator with construction experience to join their team of nine in Christchurch. Ensure that all dealings with suppliers, clients, external financial service providers, and government departments are effective and punctual.
The Accounts Administrator is responsible for the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions in an effective and efficient manner to ensure accounts are managed within established time limits.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce forward cashflow projection and scenarios for major project impacts - 3 month forecasts. Produce month-end Management Accounts for board and banking covenant purposes
Provide assistance to Project Support Officers ensuring all Accounts Payable invoices are receipted and invoiced correctly, and in a timely manner
Processing Accounts Payable invoices into Greentree
Distributing Accounts Payable invoices to management for approval and sign-off
Set up Jobs using Greentree
Provide support for the Accounts Receivable function
Check and reconcile Accounts Payable invoices against supplier statements at month end
Prepare and process Subcontractor timesheets and payments, weekly
Process payroll from timesheets when required
Generating Greentree reports as requested by Management and Project Managers
Make batch payments, other payments as per cashflow spreadsheet as required
Reconcile bank accounts for ECL & EECL daily and weekly
Update and maintain cashflow spreadsheet daily
Process payments for Accounts Payable, PAYE, GST and FBT
Key Requirements:
Greentree experience would be advantageous
Accounting qualifications with relevant experience
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Can work in a team environment
Must be in New Zealand for interviews
Must have Job costing experience
