Accounts Administrator - Dunedin

The role:

Reporting to the Business Manager of Retailer Services, the Accounts Administrator is a key role within this department. You will be responsible for:

Accounts Receivable processing within our financial accounting system (SAP)
Preparing AP/AR accrual data for monthly accounts
Responding to stakeholders' queries (internal & external customers and suppliers)
Journal entries
Reconciling of supplier invoices and schedules
Ensuring that accounting queries are responded to in a timely and accurate manner
Dealing with clients, suppliers and staff to keep everything running smoothly
Provide first line support for accounting and finance department in absence of Business Manager
Advise Systems Manager of invoicing schedule requirements
Reporting on health and safety stats within the business unit.

About you:

Experience working in an accounts and administration position (within a large progressive organisation is advantageous)
Proficient user in the MS suite, intermediate to advanced level in excel
Practical experience working within administrative systems including using a financial system (SAP advantageous)
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
Proven self-management skills juggling conflicting priorities to meet strict deadlines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the business
Proven organisational skills
A relevant tertiary qualification will be considered advantageous.
