Accounting Lecturer (Focus: Foundation Courses)

Fulfil the role of accounting and finance lecturer in the Bachelor of Business Studies, the New Zealand Diploma in Business, and other School of Business programmes and courses as required with a focus on foundation business courses and specifically bookkeeping.
Ideally candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Graduate Diploma in Accounting with teaching experience at tertiary level. Experience in the industry/practice is essential, with recent relevant experience preferred.
The following qualifications and experience would be an advantage:
· Postgraduate qualification
· Experience in teaching Taxation and Financial Accounting
· Xero Accredited with relevant experience
· Payroll experience
The ability to develop and maintain professional networks and positive and constructive working relationships with colleagues are also important aspects of this role.
