This Australia wide firm provides services in Audit, Insolvency, Corporate Finance, SMSF & Business Services, with a strong focus on Business Advisory. Staff are rewarded through a bonus structure (at management level), regular social events and the firm has a strong community involvement.
The Role/Individual
Our client is looking for an extroverted, career driven accountant, who will fit in well with the office culture. Structured training and supportive mentoring from partners and external presenters, will help you quickly achieve your career goals.
Duties:
Preparation of Income Tax Returns & Financial Statements for all types of entities- including SMSF
Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
Liaising with the ATO on taxation matters
Research tax and business advisory
Liaise with clients and other stakeholders
Mentoring junior staff
Skills & Experience
The following requirements are necessary in order to be considered:
Bachelor in Commerce/Finance (Accounting)
Technical and working knowledge with Div 7a, CGT, PSI and FBT
2+ years' experience in a similar role
Completed/close to completion- CA/CPA
Previous experience in MYOB AE & Xero
Experience with Primary Production client advantageous
