Accountant

Auckland City, AucklandContractWe are looking for a business-savvy Accountant who has previous commercial experience and strong systems knowledge. They will also be positive, enthusiastic and be able to work independently to perform a variety of accounting functions.In this role, you'll be able to utilise your extensive accounting knowledge and experience to hit the ground running. You will be part of a small but capable finance team and perform any aspect of the finance function from processing payments to monthly accounts reconciliations. We are a progressive, forward-looking and agile, medium-sized business that is focused on continuous improvement.What we need from you:A completed Accounting Qualification or be working towards oneA minimum of 3 years experience in commercial financial accounting with in-depth experience and knowledge of automated purchase order systems advantageousStrong preference for experience with Xero including with integrated purchase order/AP systemExcellent knowledge of AP systems from purchase order creation through to payments (and integration with the GL throughout)Excellent knowledge of financial operating systems, procedures and compliance requirementsAn energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive approachA high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with a strong work ethicSo if this sounds like you and you're ready to join Wilderness on their journey please apply today!
