Accountant

The Company
My Client are a civil construction business based in Melbournes Northern Suburbs. The finance function is made up of 7 people and this role will report directly to the Financial Controller, working closely with a senior management accountant

The Role
As accountant you will be responsible for the month end process, financial and statutory reporting, the successful candidate will also get influence to the management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable putting accounts together and also aspire to analysis and review business results, offering commentary on trends.

The Individual
You are a resilient and determined CA/CPA qualified or part qualified accountant. You have a technical strength that allows you to be hands on with the business and a strong commercial understanding or industry drivers
