With new offices in Christchurch New Zealand, they are now on the lookout for an experienced Accountant to join the team. Important to note ..
You will be working with a small energetic team, who enjoy socialising and spending time together inside and outside of work. The role will require you to travel, mainly around New Zeeland and Australia but international travel will also be expected. We are looking for somebody will thrive off the opportunity to work with this team who are goal orientated, hardworking, self-starters and passionate about what they do.

As the company accountant for New Zealand and Australia, you will be handling the following:
Payroll and taxes
Profit and loss reporting
Current accounts, invoicing and accounting
Working with the whole process of AP and AR
Closing the books - monthly reconciliations and preparing for annual financial statements
Handling of budgeting and forecasts for management analysis
Declaring GST, Payroll and income taxes
Handling foxed asset registry
Following internal routines of accounting and document filing

In addition to the above you will also be working closely with the international finance department and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers. For this we require excellent English language skills and fantastic communication.

We are ideally look for somebody with the following:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Accountant
Tertiary qualification within economics / accounting or the equivalent in practical training
Experience working for an IT or Tech savvy company will be an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Drivers Licence
Ability to travel for up to 6-8 weeks of the year
Flexibility with working hours
