The Role

The Account Manager is the technical commercial lead for prospects and clients. The goal of this role is to make the customer as successful as possible through showcasing our client's capabilities, marrying those to business needs, scoping, implementation, and adoption of solutions.
This will include working with the product and customer service teams, to identify core activities that will ensure their clients have successful product implementations and identifying new sales opportunities.

This consultancy is seeking an individual with a proven history of business development in technology sales: someone who can deal comfortably with CFO's, Managing Directors and CIO's and deliver wins despite stiff competition from other businesses offering similar solutions.

This role is ideal for an individual with untapped capability, excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and the desire to develop their skills and progress their sales career to the next level.

You will have the following;
At least 2+ years of successful IT sales experience
Proven track record in account management/acquisition
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to connect and communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation
Ability and desire to generate pipeline.
Ability to do software product demonstrations.
Familiarity with the ICT value proposition
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills including excellent electronic correspondence skills, with knowledge of basic business research tools.
Motivated self-starter. Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities. Bachelors Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
