We're Hiring: Account Director – (DOOH)6-Month Contract (Potential to Go Permanent) | Auckland | Full-timePlug Media is looking for a DOOH-focused Account Director with strong media agency relationships to help lead the charge as we scale New Zealand's free charging network of DOOH screens.This 6-month contract role is designed for a proven sales operator who knows the agency landscape inside-out and can immediately plug into existing relationships.
You'll be responsible for driving revenue through agency partnerships and educating the market on the unique value of Plug's nationwide DOOH network.If you're passionate about out-of-home, commercially savvy, and thrive on exceeding targets, we want to hear from you.What You'll Do:Own and grow key media agency relationships, acting as the go-to Plug contact within trading, planning, and client service teams.Sell Plug Media's DOOH inventory across high-traffic, high-impact environmentsDevelop tailored proposals aligned with client briefs and campaign KPIs.Respond to DOOH-specific briefings with insight-driven, competitive responses.Champion Plug's market proposition to ensure awareness within agency teams.Manage pipelines, negotiate commercial terms, and consistently hit sales targets.Deliver post-campaign reporting and results analysis in collaboration with operations.What You Bring:5+ years' experience in media agency sales.Deep relationships across agency groups and a clear understanding of their DOOH buying processes.A sharp commercial mindset and confidence in negotiating at senior levels.Proven ability to exceed revenue targets and manage client portfolios.Passion for the DOOH category.A proactive, energetic personality with excellent presentation and communication skills.What We Offer:A contract role with real potential to go permanent.Competitive base salary + uncapped commission.The opportunity to join a future-focused DOOH company with momentum and market demand.Autonomy, ownership, and support from a small, entrepreneurial team doing big things.Let's talk.Apply now, or email ******
