Job Description Creative Arts and Industries (CAI) is a small diverse Faculty at the University of Auckland. CAI offers undergraduate and postgraduate study of a wide range of creative disciplines within the Schools of Architecture and Planning, Dance Studies, Design, Fine Arts and Music – in all areas, the emphasis is on creative exploration and discovery and on interdisciplinary collaboration across the Faculty.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an Academic Services Coordinator within the Student Centre on a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Student Academic Services Team Leader, this role will primarily be responsible for providing holistic academic support and administration for students across our multiple Schools. This is an important role and one that covers a wide range of responsibilities relating to the success of the students studying with the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries.

Skills and Experience
The Student Centre Team are dedicated to supporting our students. We are looking for a person who will adapt easily into the team structure, can work effectively with a wide range of people (colleagues, other members of the University staff, students and Academics).
Our ideal candidate will:

- Have strong customer service focus
- A willingness to learn new skills.
We hold some student events outside of normal working hours, and the successful candidate may need to be flexible where required.
