Full-time 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE)Continuing (permanent) positionGenerous annual leave provisions and professional development opportunitiesAu Mahi | What You Will DoAn exciting opportunity has opened for an Academic Administrator to join Te Tari o Te Rangai Pukaha | Faculty of Engineering Office.
You will work closely with both Associate Deans - Academic and faculty committees, providing high-level and comprehensive academic administrative support.
Your responsibilities will include managing meeting agendas, scheduling, appointments, serving as a minute secretary, and preparing reports.
You will also support projects related to meeting outcomes and assist with event coordination.
This role offers a unique chance to work closely with academic team members and senior colleagues within a stimulating and prestigious environment.Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in an administrative support role within a large organization, preferably in the public sector.
Experience or understanding of the New Zealand education system would be advantageous.
You should be skilled in minute-taking and meeting protocols, with a strong attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively across diverse cultures.
